Mother of runes

None can say with certainty how old Kanna truly is. Some claim she has walked the world for more than two and a half centuries. Others whisper that she was ancient before the first stones of the Dwarven Kingdom were ever laid.

The blind sorceress speaks the tongues of beasts and commands the forgotten runes of the elder days. Legends tell that with a single rune, she can rouse stone giants from their slumber, bring a fortress crashing to the ground, or bind a demon in chains of ancient magic—even a dragon, should she dare.

Among the dwarves, she is known by a name spoken with equal parts reverence and fear:
